Season of Mists...

Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness,
Close bosom-friend of the maturing sun;
Conspiring with him how to load and bless
With fruit the vines that round the thatch-eves run;

Några andra exempel på boktitlar från dikter: Iain M. Banks Consider Phlebas lånar från T. S. Eliots The Waste Land:
Gentile or Jew
O you who turn the wheel and look windward,
Consider Phlebas, who was once handsome and tall as you.
Philip Pullmans His Dark Materials kommer från John Miltons Paradise Lost:
Into this wilde Abyss,
The Womb of nature and perhaps her Grave,
Of neither Sea, nor Shore, nor Air, nor Fire,
But all these in their pregnant causes mixt
Confus'dly, and which thus must ever fight,
Unless th' Almighty Maker them ordain
His dark materials to create more Worlds,
Into this wilde Abyss the warie fiend
Stood on the brink of Hell and look'd a while,
Pondering his Voyage; for no narrow frith
He had to cross.
Charlie Hustons No Dominion gör en vampyrisk vändning av Dylan Thomas And Death Shall Have No Dominion:
And death shall have no dominion.
Dead men naked they shall be one
With the man in the wind and the west moon;
When their bones are picked clean and the clean bones gone,
They shall have stars at elbow and foot;
Though they go mad they shall be sane,
Though they sink through the sea they shall rise again;
Though lovers be lost love shall not;
And death shall have no dominion.

"The good, the bad and the undead" och "For a few demons more".

Stephen Kings "The Dark Tower" från Robert Brownings "Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came".
